Kitchen Fitting

Thinking of having a new fitted kitchen

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.17 PM

I live in an ex local authority house and am thinking of having a new kitchen fitted. Does the price charged usually include the kitchen plan etc. Also the outer walls that are where the plumbing is are full of holes where council workers obviously didnt do as good a job as they may have when plumbing in sink etc. Can literally smell odours from nextdoor neighbour's kitchen which is one of the main reasons for wanting a new kitchen (as well as cupboards falling to bits.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi, before having your new kitchen fitted, ask the joiner to fill the holes on your walls properly, this should hopefully stop and bad smells from coming through. As for your kitchen, and reputable supplier will offer a free design service for you, to show you how it will look when finished. dont rush into anything, always shop around to make sure you get the best deals as they all like to undercut each other. the biggest thing you need to think about it what you want out of your new kitchen, look for ideas before hand and try try to plan it out, this allows you to make your kitchen an efficient space. hope this helps

good afternoon, the first port of call is to find a recommended kitchen fitter, myself is one of them, next is to fix your budget. then go to the fitters recommended kitchen supplier and choose a kitchen. then either i could or with the help of howdens to design your kitchen, the rest would evolve, all the holes etc are incidental because all defects will be repaired accordingly, to leave you with a kitchen youll love.
