Bath water Luke warm
Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.17 PM
I have a free standing bath with a none mixer tap. The hot water tap is a bit wobbly, but used to run hot water absolutely fine. Now for some weird reason the water won't run any hotter than Luke warm. Is it something to do with the wobbly tap?
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

You might have unequal pressures on the hot and cold supplying the mixer tap. The cold could be higher pressure and so forcing the hot back. You could fit a non-return valve on the hot supply to combat this.
