How can I change the code for Optima 2 plus alarm system without knowing the current code? In addition if the code has been changed from original set up code and we don't know the installer what can I doðŸ˜Thank you.

There are 3 differnt types of factory set code. You may try one of these.
Customer Code: 0123
Duress Code: 8888
Engineer Code: 9999
This may well have been changed by the engineer who installed your alarm system in which case you would have to contact him.

If you can't access the default codes, then the panel will require defaulting.
Unfortunately I am unable to supply the defaulting procedure, this will be published in the installation manual for this product.
The Procedure is a little involved for this panel, require a specific procedure to follow with certain terminals linked together.
Given the Age of this product and replacement units to a modern equivalent are not so expensive, I would be tempted to upgrade the panel than waste too much time trying to get it working if the default codes aren't available.
Your back up battery may also need replacing if it hasn't been replaced in the last 5 years.
