installation of gas cooker

I have just bought a New world gas cooker with a glass top over hob that you lift Curry's say they cannot install it as there is no splash back fitted?
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Its not April 1st is it.
A cooker that has its own built in glass splash back and currie's will not fit it because there is no slashback.
(If the cooker had no glass splashback is the wall behind constructed from combustible materials.)

im 99.9% shore they (curry's) are incorrect, the installers they have go on a 1 day corse in plumbing, if it has a glass panel it has a splash back, but if i am incorrect you must have a tiled, granite or stainless steel spalsh back in place
