Drain down your system until desired pressure using a Drain Off Valve on a Radiator by attaching a Hose Pipe to it. If you empty too much then you fill system upto required pressure using filling loop on or near boiler. Bill Pipe Dreams Plumbing Services Bournemouth#

doubt it will be your bar pressure gauge!i would say that the water pressure switch is at fault,the problem is it is a wet pocket devise so you will have to empty the boiler!!!detach the wires and mark so they go back in the same way.the switch will cost you about £25ish.you see if the switch is faulty and it will go back to the board as far as the board is concerned it will regard the system as empty!!!tom cldebank plumbing&heating
