Flooring has dark patches coming through but No lifting or bubbling?

I have Lino flooring over quarry tiles....it was like this when I moved in...the Lino floor is cream and over the 3 years it has dark patches coming through....I thought it might be glue 'going off' as most was around the edges but this last year it's coming up all over the floor now....there is No lifting/bubbles but the floor just looks dirty! Can anyone give me any ideas as to what the problem is please!!

sounds like moisture under the vinyl, if possible try and take up a corner up see if you can get underneath, if wet and no leaks you need to get the floor damp tested, then look for having a DPM applied (damp proof membrane)
