Steps/ ramp up to my main porch
Anonymous user 01/03/2024 - 2.53 PM
I wanted to find out if I required planning permission/ council approval/ building control approval for adding steps and a ramp up to my main front door. My driveway is on a slope and quite wide, as a result, we are having a slope on the left and steps to the right with iron railing for safety. There will be a 1mx2m flat area outside the door where the ramp and the steps will start from. Can anyone point me in the right direction please???

No planning but b carefully not to cross damp coarse for future surveys for resale also use a damp proof membrane against wall to be on the safe side to stop any damp transfer
