Planning to fit a kitchen myself - but need someone to overlook/advise.

Hi, I am on a strict budget to renovate my kitchen. I have never fitter kitchen ever before. I plan to fit all the kitchen units myself and get a professional to fit the worktops and sink. Would it be possible to have the same professional overlook my work for some money? Someone who could visit me for an hour of so, give me instructions and thats it. Come back in few days and overlook my work and provide any more advise for any wrong doings etc? I know it would have to be someone very local, but is this possible for a small fee?

My advice is buy a good quality spirit level and use it, think twice and cut once. Have the supplier give you a detailed plan and don't say you understand it if you are not 100% certain!
Take your time it's not rocket science
Good luck

always check that you are level, i use 3 levels while fitting you can never be to sure and when putting the carcus against the wall make sure they are the same measurement ( measure from the wall to the front of the carcus) either side because your walls will probably not be straight! and keep that measurement all the way if the measurement is to big one side cut the excess with a saw and secure into place with fixing and brackets , Good luck
