SLOW RUNNING FAN IN BIASI BOILER THAT HAS NOT BEEN USED FOR A TIME

PLSE CAN YOU ADVISE WHAT I CAN DO TO MAKE THE FAN IN A BIASI BOILER IN A PROPERTY THAT HASNT BEEN USED FOR SOME TIME. OTHER THAN BUY A NEW FAN ? THANKYOU

If the fan is running slow then it sounds like the bearings are starting to wear, lubrication is not very effective as it will just dry out within a few weeks with the heat it will be subjected to. Also the fan is an essential part that ensures the boiler is burning safely and efficiently, therefore if it is starting to fail then replacement with an OEM part is the only sensible solution. This should also only be carried out by a registered gas safe engineer, as it is a safety critical part and working on it constitutes as gas work.
