Dual Fuel Range Cooker Gas/Electric Certificate

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.16 PM

I'm about to have a dual fuel range cooker installed and wanted to check whether I needed either a gas safe certificate or an electrical certificate (it will also need hard wiring) for the installation Thanks in advance for any help

You will need both the gas can only be altered or connected via a gas safe certified plumber/engineer and the electrics would need to be installed by an adequately qualified electrician. Depending on the rating of your new cooker the existing cooker cable may be usable. A qualified electrician would be able to check prior if you know your cooker details. Hope this helps Qualified electrician Lazlo
