Bay Window Finish
Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 2.59 PM
We have just had new Windows fitted one being out big bay window at the front of the house. I have looked at other peoples bay windows in the street and have noticed that there's have all been finished with some sort of plastic at the top where as mine has just been left as wood and it just doesn't look right. Should mine have been finished with plastic trim?
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

most of the time when you use a trim its to cover some defect or the window may be slightly to small. most installers will tell you that the best finish on a new window is just a silicone line, you could if you wished arrange to cover the timber with a trim if you are not happy with the finish.
