do I need to paint over the bits of plaster

I've had bits of plastering done n before wallpapering it do I need to paint it first? I no ill av to sand it down but can I paper straight over the plaster? Thx

Hello To be on the safe side its always better to paint the plastered areas before papering. Because of the difference in colour to the rest if the wall it could show through once the paper has dried.

Hello ,best way is to apply i miss coat after preparation and finally to apply sizing to the walls prior to wallpaper, this will help to move wallpaper easily for installation and will be easy for future removing and replacement.
