what to use on a concrete floor to level it

Anonymous user 15/03/2024 - 2.30 PM

Hello everybody. I have had my kitchen extended and the concrete floor is not levelled. I have heard of different things you can use to level it, as it will have a luxury vinyl tiles stuck to it.What type of plywood would you use ? marine plywood or what type? and what's the best option as it's not dry (but we can't wait for months for it to dry!) Damp proof membrane or resin....or is there anything else? Thanks

1st you need to use a liquid moisture suppressor like Fball stopgap F78, which you put 2 coats down. Then a screeding compound like stopgap 300. Don't plywood it. Moisture from the concrete will go straight into the plywood as it will have nowhere else to go.
