How to get rid of scuff / scratch marks

Anonymous user 15/03/2024 - 2.30 PM

The bathroom floor tiles in our bathroom have 4 grey circle scuff / scrape marks about 300cm in length I had a professional cleaner come in to clean the tiles and I bought tile polish pads and grout remover. The marks didn't come off. It looks like the tiler has been a bit rough using the towel when apply grout to seal in the tiles. Wish I could add a photo to show! How can I restore the tile without haven't them removed and redone?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Locate a product called barkeepers friend and use this to clean the mark. If its possible to clean out this product will do it.

Hi Reading your description I think it is very possible that these damage to the tiles arose from some machine or container that had an aluminum base, because aluminum often leaves marks difficult to remove. You can try removing them using water-based sandpaper labeled 1000 or 800. Be careful, do not damage the original surface of the tile.
