Add a toilet downstairs

I have a bathroom upstairs, but as family grows, I would like to add one separate toilet downstairs. Not sure what I need to do. Can anyone advice me? Many thanks.

You need to find out where your waste can run to and where the toilet can be placed. Will an area need to be made to accommodate the toilet. Alex

Look for the big soil stack or waste pipe. It may run down the back of your house. Use tracking skills to map where it leads. The toilet and waste from sink must run down hill with gravity into the sewer system. Worth having a professional round to survey the space.

Alternatively just put macerator in and you can put toilet almost anywhere.
