Are people who have recently moved house a good source of new customers for you?

I'm wondering how you go about finding new customers? Do you try to get people who have just moved into a new flat/house? Do you find them a good source of work? Do you think that a service which provides you with a monthly list of people who have just moved into your local area (or the areas you are able to work) would be beneficial? I'm asking this as I'm looking at setting up a website doing just this, and am trying to gauge how useful this would be. This is not an advert, simply trying to get opinions on how much weight people put on getting new customers such as these. Many thanks in anticipation for any comments.
