How do I know if the gas has been cut off to our fireplace?
Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.15 PM
We have four fireplaces in our semi-detached house and are looking to remove the chimneys up to the stack in the loft. I was asked by a builder if the gas to the fireplace has been cut off (not sure what the correct terminology is). How can I tell if the gas has been cut off to the fireplace? Are there other things I need to know regarding the gas to in/around the fireplace? Many thanks.
