approx cost for installation of RSJ to support chimney breast

Please could someone let me know the likely cost of installing an RSJ under a potentially unsupported chimney breast (remains at first floor and in roof space). The chimney was removed at ground level in the 80s, so there are no approvals for the work and it may need to be repaired. Just need to know the if likely costs involved are around £500 or £5000. I've already had a quote for a structural survey so just need an approximate cost for: RSJ - £50-£100 from what I've read Labour (padding 1900ish solid brick walls, fitting RSJ, fireproofing, plastering, but no need to redecorate) Building Regs I'm in North Essex if that helps Thanks very much
