Could you please estimate cost of fixing? also possible to tie into a loft conversion job?

Hi, about to purchase a 1970's house. survey says: The roof space was entered through a hatch in the landing ceiling. The roof is formed with conventional factory made roof trusses. The roof space is insulated with a mixture of mineral wool and fibreglass quilt. The roof structure is in satisfactory order however the roof is not adequately windbraced and strapped. Consideration should be given to improving bracing. It appears that the hot water cylinder is overloading ceiling joists and we refer to our additional comments. There are old warm air ducts apparent. The ceilings are in satisfactory condition but some are uneven in a few places. The ceilings should be inspected from time to time and finishes maintained in the normal way. Slight cracking noted to ceilings beneath hot water cylinder in the roof space above. Some old grills remain from the redundant worn air systems. could you please estimate the cost to fix this? many thanks!

From the description given above, it would not be possible to provide an accurate quotation without undertaking our own survey, in order to ascertain the extent of work required, and to inspect for the possible presence of Asbestos containing material.

It would be silly for any contractor to give you a estimate without seeing the job ,and if someone does I would stay well clear as it will probably treble.
