How much is the labour cost for laying engineering floor for a house around 85 sq m?

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 2.58 PM

I am currently in the process of having the extension built to the house which would need flooring as well as the current living space. The lounge will stretch 37 feet long and 11.5 ft wide. The rest of the space is upstairs that needs flooring. So I am looking for a general idea of how much the labour can cost me to laying engineering floor for around 85 sq m area. I am in Birmingham if that has no impact on costs so please guide me.

if its a floated floor then around £1200 inc underlay but a tongue and groove floor will need plying and secret nailing which would be around £2000. if the subfloor is concrete then a suitible liquid dpm and latex screed would be needed and the flooring fully bonded to the subfloor approx £45 sq m .
