What is the best way to increase water pressure in the home for modern taps?

Hi I would say the best way to go is to install a unvented cylinder as this would give you mains pressure at all hot outlets. I've built a 4 bed house with 3 bathrooms and it works great. Hope this helps. Ywain the plumber

Combi boiler is the best solution. Depending of the number of occupant, and the size of the house, unvented cylinder is the second option. Tiziano

Hi this problem crops up all of the time combi or unvented for hot water.The problem with the combi is the incoming pressure to the house .When a combi is installed most plumber/heating engineers then convert the whole house to mains water remember the water boards by law only need to give you one bar pressure which in turn gives approx. 9litrs per minutes Many houses may have up to 10 to 14 outlets which mean you will lose pressure at quite a few outlets. Unvented are ok if the pressures are fine but these need a mains supply of 22mm when your 1980 may have only ? a 1/2 OR 15MM SUPPLY. Best solution in my opinion store water ie cistern {tank} increase size of hot water cylinder and a 3bar stuart and turner pump best pumps in the country Good pressure all round except the kitchen sink which may be one bar pressure
