Saw for 20mm engineered wood
Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 2.58 PM
Hi, I wanted to ask what people thought was the best saw for laying a wooden floor. A firm called GMC do a 'flooring saw' but it looks like the max cutting depth is 18mm and my panels are 20mm. Is there a decent type of saw that will do the job for cutting across and along panels? Many thanks, Adam

Hi, possibly your best option is to hire a sliding compound mitre saw, unless you plan on using it a lot, then just buy one.I have a Bosch one & a smaller Elu one, both are excellent.Hope this helps, Chris.
