Painting garden brick walls white. How to give a smooth rendered like finish?

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 2.58 PM

hi guys, I have a garden with brick walls that have that yellowy 1970's look. I'd like to do paint them white and ideally give them a rendered finish. I was wondering if you could advise me. But I am a complete beginner at this and wanted to know the best way to go about it all in order to get that rendered look. My questions are: 1. Would you render the walls first in order to get that look? 2. If yes, then are there any special material mixes or good things out there you would recommend I buy? 3. Would you use a spray paint instead of a roller? (the coverage in total is around 20metre squared and they are garden walls). 4. Any particular white paints you would use? Any ideas would be great, as I was going to begin the job this weekend. Thanks a lot Yashy
