New combi boiler requirements & water pressure/flow
Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.15 PM
Hi I have a typical victorian terraced house which I am converting the loft to add additional rooms and shower room. The house currently has a Valiant ecotech plus 824 boiler installed but I think it needs to be upgraded and would like some help in advising of what we need and what type/model of boiler. The house will be configured as follows: GROUND FLOOR Hallway x 1 large radiator Double lounge x 2 standard sized radiators Kitchen x 2 standard sized radiators, 1 x sink, 1 x dishwasher, 1 x washing machine, 1 x WC and basin FIRST FLOOR 2 x bedrooms with one standard radiator in each room Family bathroom x 1 towel rail Small storage room - Boiler location SECOND FLOOR (loft conversion) 2 x bedrooms with one radiator in each room Shower room x 1 electric shower, toilet and basin Also any advice about obtaining high water pressure would be appreciated. The mains water supply pipe is currently lead and will be changed to 25mm polypipe which will connect to the internal pipes which are 15mm copper. Many thanks in advance
