we recently had some brand new fitted wardrobes put i the bedroom. after a few months we found the clothed to have gone mouldy. the builder will not come back.

If its on a external wall u may need to vent it a good quality builder would return and view the problem and sort it if it needs vents then all he need do is charge for the vents Good luck Gary

The problem will be condensation you need to ventilate the cupboards and if you have an ensuit make sure you close the door when using the shower or bath and turn on the extract fan which you must have! Also you need to extract to the outside any steam from cooking even if it is downstairs from the bedroom as the hot steam will find its way upstairs and turn back to water inside the cupboards which cannot usually soak up moisture like walls painted with ordinary emulsion.
