Is a Speedfit Flexihose suitable for a shower mains supply?

Anonymous user 01/03/2024 - 2.52 PM

The wall where the current shower unit lives is being tiled meaning the existing cold water supply will be at too much of an angle to use the existing straight pipe work which was already angled. Speedfit Flexihose is advertised as being a multipurpose solution but is it suitable for replacing an existing olive joint for a shower supply?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Should be fine for this purpose, i've used flexi hoses to get around some very tight angles and never had a problem. You could also use a pipe bender and bend your own angles if you wanted to go the copper pipe route.

Yes, make sure the end of the pipe is reinforced with "stiffener/liners" as the compression fit could deformed the pipe to much. Tiziano
