Self-leveling concrete over vinyl tiles

simple answer is no, this is mainly down to the adhesive failing underneath which in turn will pop your screed, any screeding needs to be done direct to the sub-floor and the floor must be primed first this type of work should always be done by a professional as there is a humongous difference between a professional floor installers screed and anyone elses, if this is laminate then that's no problem however if you're attempting to install a real wood get in the professionals the floor will need a dpm and certain types of screed are suitable most are not, hope this helps.

As said above definitely take up the vinyl first, damp test, dpm (if required) and get a professional in to screed it with a suitable screed.

hi it is not recommended that you but self-leveling screeds over vinyl tiles, can cause yourself a bigger head-ace in the long run, and i know it can be a night-mare of a job but always better to take tiles up and start from scratch
