What is 'Completion of Brickworks'?
Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.32 PM
The next stage of my extension is the brickwork. After this, I am then required to make one of my staged payments. I'm also assuming there will be a building control office to come by and check out the work. Would payment usually be taken after the inspection? Is the inspection carried out during this process to ensure it's all OK?
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi,
Building control come to inspect the wall plate and roof timbers, not the brickwork, once your past dpc its down to your builder to build it to building
Regs, saying that you can ask the inspector when he comes out to have a look
but as a rule and if your happy with your builder,it shouldn't effect the stage payments, hope this as helped in some way.
