any special requirements of tiling skill for backsplash piece

I will have a whole piece of quartz backsplash board, about 60x80cm, does it need special skills/requirements to tile it onto the wall, behind gas hob, under the extractor? Or just like normal wall tiling work. Thanks.

If it is just one piece you won't need any special skills.Just make sure the wall is clean,brush on a coat of pva glue and when it's dry you can stick your slab to the wall with gripfill. Regards S
