Hot tub on sloped garden?
Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 2.58 PM
Is it worth building a hot tub on a sloped garden? I understand this would require a concrete slap to be installed on a level area in order for proper construction. What would an estimated cost be for this assuming that some landscaping would be required around the area above and below the hot tub (preparation and purchase cost/installation separate)? Overall a small area, hot tub would take up 1/4th of space, are there good examples of where this has been done previously?

hi, depending on the slope, the soil conditions and the access. the hot tub could be placed on a timber decking area, either as a 'stand alone' platform , or part of a enclosed or open span larger deck area. there are endless options to turn this into a feature or a secluded area. if you would like more information then please do not hesitate in contacting us. kind regards, simon, jobrite landscaping.

I built a hot tub on a sloped garden which houses over 3000 litres of water and it still stands after 15 years, so the answer is yes. The key is an over the top foundation for the tub to sit on, and as advised, it would depend upon soil conditions. Mine was sat on very solid chalky soil.
