How many ton of chippings are needed for a 6metre by 3 metre grass area

hi guys need some advice on how many ton of chippings are needed to cover an area of around 6metres long by 3 metres wide grass area that I need to dig out and cover over with chippings.
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

1 tonne covers 10m2
you will need a weed membrane below

to workout the m3 you also need to know the depth of chippings Length x Width x Depth

Hi
On average you will get 20 Sqm at a depth of 50 mm from a bulk bag ( 1 ton approx )
Don't forget to weed killer the soil and then buy a good membrane to put down so that you keep weeds at bay.
