How do I choose correct size for mirror sliding doors

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 2.31 PM

I have a recess which I would like to have mirror sliding doors fitted to. The width is 44 " by 69" . What size doors should i select and what other hardware would I need. Thanks

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

hi I would suggest going to the nearest shop and they would give you all the suggestions you may need as each door has its own sliding mechanism or if you have a fitter they should point you in the right direction

The answer to this is very vague Im afraid. You need to know the product that you want, and know its sizes in comparison. You will always be minimum 150mm shorter than the ceiling height, and width would be 50 to 100mm. This then depends on whether you are carcasing the opening, or just a frame in front. It may be easier to have a carpenter round who hasused these systems before.
