Internal wall Damp patches during heavy rain fall dries out in dry weather

Hi we have an internal wall single brick, recently had it damp proofed and concrete plastered to 1 Mtr high we are now getting damp patches at 1.5 mtrs in times of rain which dry out again with dry weather. Can anyone help pls? Linzi

without actually looking at the issue it is impossible to be 100% sure of what is causing your issues, but would try checking the roof felt,tiles, any pipework. ect. unfortunately rising damp is misdiagnosed in over 75% of cases in this country and most damproof solutions are designed to cover up any dampness rather than find what is causing the problem , then fix it. you dont say where about in the country you live if you where close to me I would have a look and tell you what is causing this issue and how to resolve it, good luck Alex
