reinstating a window instead of patio doors cost ?

hi we are looking to buy a house but it has patio doors fitted to the front which we dont like and wouldnt use. can anyone tell me about how much it would cost to brick up the bottom part and put in a window ? obviously we wouldnt be able to get a local quote unless we bought it. thanks

Would budget around £1000-£1500 depending where you are, size of window etc.

The reason I'm contacting you is that you will probably need permission from the council ie a building warrant for the works
