Gas Hob Space For Wall Units

When installing a gas hob, how much space do I need to have each side of it? i.e. where can my wall units go up to? Do the wall units go to the edge of the hob but 460mm up or does there have to be a 50mm clean gap from the sides of the hob and vertically up and nothing can encroach into that space?
Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

50mm each side and from the hob there has to be a gap of 760mm before the bottom of a unit
