Re-rendering an internal wall

Hi Guys Can some give me an approx cost on re-rendering and skimming an internal wall of 6.1m x 2.3m. I have an uneven wall that I am thinking of evening out and someone suggested removing the old plaster and put up new plasterboards which are then skimmed. I think I prefer the old fashion method and wondered what it might cost. Thanks

Rendering will probably cost as much if not more than re-boarding starting from scratch will get the required results but in my opinion board deffinatly does the job re rendering could leave you with the same problem depending on how good the plasterer is at it
