grouting and sealing marble floor tiles
Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 2.57 PM
I'm having a new kitchen installed and Ive had new marble tiles put down in my kitchen which haven't been sealed or grouted yet and the kitchen fitters started fitting the units today which means the tiles underneath the units will not be sealed or have grout between them and I'm wondering if this will cause a problem? Thank you

The tiles should have been sealed prior to fitting, then a second coat applied once down and grouted, the grout can stain the tiles too. Also the tiles should be finished sealed and grouted a few days minimum before the kitchen goes in so they dry and cure correctly.
