Removing housing unit of integrated fridge
Anonymous user 01/03/2024 - 2.52 PM
UPDATED* (please see below) Hi, Currently I have an integrated fridge but want to replace it with a freestanding one. The integrated fridge stands between a wall and the dishwasher. Is it possible to remove the housing unit without causing damage to the rest of the integrated kitchen? Thank you. UPDATED* - answering Dodds Kitchen Fitting's questions: yes, it is a larger fridge in a tall housing and the dishwasher is integrated as well. Unfortunately this website isn't enabled for the uploading of photos so I cannot show you. Thank you for your help!

yes this should be an easy process.
Remove the current fridge and then carefully disassemble the housing unit.
You will find that the old housing unit would of been 600 mm with the fridge being 590 mm and i would assume that your new fridge will be of the same dimensions.

A photo of the layout would help to verify if the fridge is an underbench model or a larger fridge in a tall housing . Also is the dishwasher integrated too ?
Thanks
