Base for log cabin
Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 2.57 PM
I have just bought a log cabin that is 4m by 3m. I really don't have a clue about which base would be best. I've heard concrete slabs would be cheapest, but an actual concrete base would be the most stable. Please help.

In my experience and my recommendation would be a concrete base of 150mm or 6 inches thick with reinforcing mesh and a four to one mix of ballast and cement also the using of a poker to remove air from the concrete so producing the strongest most level of bases. I hope this is useful Emma .
