Base for log cabin

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 2.57 PM

I have just bought a log cabin that is 4m by 3m. I really don't have a clue about which base would be best. I've heard concrete slabs would be cheapest, but an actual concrete base would be the most stable. Please help.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

In my experience and my recommendation would be a concrete base of 150mm or 6 inches thick with reinforcing mesh and a four to one mix of ballast and cement also the using of a poker to remove air from the concrete so producing the strongest most level of bases. I hope this is useful Emma . Regards lee horgan
