Removal of Back-Boiler and wall heater.
Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.13 PM
I have a back boiler behind a chimney-breast in my dining room, with a rather horrible antique heater on the wall. How much should I expect to be charged to remove this? And what would it involve? Thanks, in advance for your help. Liam

More realistic price with a good quality boiler £2000-£2500

you can remove the back boiler and convert your system from the original to a combination system or a y or s plan.
you will need to make good builders opening and block any serc,s left by old pipework in chimney of cylinder cupboard.
a conversion can be done in two days but could take longer depending on gas run for new boiler.
the cost will be between £1600 to £1900 including new boiler and fitting, depending on the new boiler you require.
