Can I pour concrete over old crazy paving to close gaps and stop weed from growing in between?
Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 2.57 PM
I have a crazy paved patio in my garden and it is in a very poor state. There's weed and moss growing everywhere and the paving slabs move a lot. Can I pour cement on top to close these gaps? If not what do you suggest? I don't have money to spend on it. Thanks

if you pour a 100mm slump then nothing is going to grow, bare in mind the concrete tends to kill off weeds when new and not set

If as above you poor a 100 mm slump you need to ensure the finished level is at least 150mm below DPC. If this is not the case you need to replace the patio with something suitable.
