Colour game - what is on the cooker: -green (earth?) -blue (live?) -red/pink (neutral?)

It's obvious by your guesswork that, not being funny you have no idea. Employ a registered electrician before someone gets hurt or even worse...! Bread and butter stuff for a spark.

Depending on age of the appliance and the original country of manufacture the colour of the Circuit Protective Conductor (earth varies). Most CE marked cooker made within the EU will normally have the earth as green, green/yellow, but has been known to be white or black. For Chinese and other non EU made appliance or those pre 1992 CE marking standards it maybe a case of physically tracing the wiring loom inside the appliance.
