No water from upstairs bathroom tap

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.13 PM

I'd noticed that the the water pressure guage on the boiler in the kitchen was showing at less than 1bar so I increased it to 2. However since doing so the water from the upstairs hot tap is a pathetic tricke. Do I need to reduce the pressure and if so how do I go about it? Solutions will be much appreciated. Thanks, Brian

Hi Brain From what you have described it seems like you may have left part of the filling loop closed. On some boilers one of the valves on the filling loop also controls the hot water. If you refer to the manufactures instructions it will show you the correct position to leave the valves in. Regards Kyle Oakleigh Heating
