Smell in house but only of an evening.....heeeeelp!!!!!

Hi, Wonder if you could kindly help? We've had the floor taken up as we have a smell in the corner of the back of the house, next to the wall is the downstairs toilet and then the outside wall with the drain located in the alley.about 6:30-7ish every evening a drain/smelly veg smell comes up and we assume either a. The smell is wafting back up the drain or b.we have a crack in the drain which is leaking smells under the house which come up in the downstairs toilet and the back of the house. Has anyone come up against this before. We've taken up all the floor and floorboards in the corner of the room to look for a leak but the floor is bone dry. Appreciate anyones help.
