CHANGE FROM A GLASS ROOF TO A TILED ROOF

I HAVE A LEAN TO ORANGERY ON THE BACK OF MY HOUSE,6200-2835, WITH AGLASS ROOF . I WANT TO PUT A TILED ROOF ON IT, BUT I AM NOT SURE IF I NEED PLANNING PERMISSION. CAN ANYBODY HELP?

Hi Bob, You will usually need planning permission if the build goes over a certain height (Check the regulations online) But if your building has a certain percentage of glass in, it will not need planning permission as it can be classed as a conservatory... even with a tiled roof
