Installation of dishwasher via plumbing under the floorboards?

We have a fairly small kitchen, roughly 2.9m x 2.2m. The pluming for the kitchen (e.g. where the sink and washing machine are located) are on one side of the kitchen (against the exterior wall). We now want to fit a dishwasher along the opposite wall (interior). Is this possible? Presumably we would need to run pipes under the floor? If it helps, we are aware that the stopcock is under the middle of the kitchen floor, pretty much half way between the washing machine and the place we would like to add the dishwasher. We were thinking that perhaps we would move this to somewhere more accessible (e.g. under the sink), before re-tiling the kitchen at some point, but that's a separate issue really.
