can I stand a range cooker on a wooden floor?

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 2.31 PM

we are about to install a range cooker and are not sure whether it can stand on wood or whether we need to put something more substantial under it

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

If it's a floating engineered floor it can cause problems as the floor can't expand/contract and the boards will separate. tile the area under the cooker unless it's the original floorboards you are standing it on

Yes, that wouldn't be a problem at all.
