This depends on several things to include 1, What type of brick work are you having? Straight wall would be quicker than detailed work. 2,There is a limit to the height to which a wall can be built in one day again depending on type of work, drying times and weather conditions. 3, Cost depends on where you live as different regions have different rates.

that't the most important question if you want to hire bricklayer at day/ hourly rate. I've employed quite a few bricklayers in past 10 years and based on my experience can say an average: -beginners 200-250 per day -lazy one or when is complicated wall 350-450 -good one 500-900 If walls are straight then it comes to 900 maximum where 500 is what I've got an average from my guys (on extensions) Regards Damian

Get asked this question all the time.... This depends on several things that include- What type of brickwork are you are using, Straight walls (no openings) would be quicker than detailed/Bespoke work. There is a limit to the height to which a wall can be built in one day again depending on type of work, drying times and weather conditions, all this comes into play, is the wall to be pointed? Is there wallties? There are a lot of variables, sometimes it's not simple are running bricks to a line. Most I've averaged in a day is 900+ Richie Maxwell
