Floor needs to be levelled up by about 4inches

Hello, I have a living room floor which is about 4 inches lower than the other floors. How can this be made to be level and how much? It is rectangular area size about 30m2. Thanks.

4 inches then best bet is sand and cement screed and that will be the cheapest. That's if the floor is concrete below
