Noise in pipes leading from tank

we had a plumber and his son round he put a new radiator on and changed the valves on two of the radiators. The pump on the tank he changed a thermostat. £500 was the cost. Now we have a banging sound from the pipes where the tank is in the airing cupboard going up the pipes it is so load it sounds like metal going bang in the pipes. Can anyone advise please

Hi Kaz, It sounds as though he has not bled the air out of the system fully, it is something you could do yourself. I am sure if you called the plumber back he would do it for you and show you how to do it properly for yourself. Regards Simon

Is radiator bespoke? Get plumber back in to fix it , you have paid enough , so don't pay anymore , he or she should rectify this under warranty/ guarantee of work. Not to mention good engineering practices.
